Here are some photos of the interior. The trim is all clear (no knots) pine. The ceiling is beaded tongue and groove pine with a pickled, translucent stain. There are 4 recessed lights and a ceiling fan in the ceiling.

Completed Redwood Porch/Deck Addition

This is a quick photo of the completed project. Better photos will be posted after I return for some better shots.

All of the railing, posts, headers/beams are constructed of premium redwood shipped directly from the mill in California. The decking is a premium grade of treated southern yellow pine. The ceiling is 3/4" beaded tongue and groove southern yellow pine.

Redwood Trim on Headers and Posts

Below is a front porch addition that I am currently building.

It is 480 square feet with a premium grade of decking lumber, cedar support and rail posts, redwood railing, and the ceiling is finished with beaded profile tongue and groove pine.

The more elaborate redwood trim is still to come.

I am familiar with and have worked in every phase of residential construction from concept and design to putting the shingles on the roof. With a class "A" Building Contractors license and extensive knowledge of building processes, Associated Artisans is qualified to complete any project .

Working as a professional Architectural Draftsman for the largest home builder in Richmond was a great opportunity to develop a new skill set. This experience will contribute to a well thought out plan for you.
